The Public Spitting, Urination, and Defecation Bylaw

There will be a new Bylaw (02-19) known as “The Public Spitting, Urination, and Defecation Bylaw”. These actions, in any public place, whether publicly or privately owned, constitute a health risk and a nuisance which may affect the amenity of a neighborhood. Any officer, Police Officer, Municipal Enforcement Officer, or any other person duly authorized by the Council of the Town of Kindersley is designated to enforce this Bylaw. Penalties for these actions can become expensive, especially if recurring. If your payment is made within 10 calendar days of the incident, first time offenders can expect a fine of $100.00. Second time offenders $250.00 and third $500.00. Fines double if payment is made after 10 calendar days.
