Beginning in 2014, the Town of Kindersley has periodically contracted a private firm to remove tripping hazards along sidewalks in Kindersley.

This cost-effective approach to sidewalk repair uses a patented cutting technology that provides an alternative to removing and replacing full panels of concrete while still ensuring public safety by creating a smooth walking surface.

The $50,000 project saved the Town in excess of $200,000 when compared to the cost of demolishing and replacing the sidewalks. The map below shows the areas completed.
