The Town of Kindersley charges a monthly licence fee to mobile home owners. These fees help fund a variety of tax-supported services that are available to all residents of Kindersley, including fire, police, and protective services, garbage and recycle collection, recreation and cultural programming, and other municipal facilities and infrastructure. This increase was made necessary by the fact that the previous mobile licence fees had been in effect since 1990 and did not adequately offset current living costs and operational expenses.
Effective January 1, 2015, as per the Mobile Home Bylaw 18-14, Kindersley Town Council approved an increase to the monthly licence fees charged to mobile homes. These fees are as follows:
Mobile Home Licence Fees fund the following services:
Fire Protection, RCMP, Bylaw Enforcement, Animal Control, Parks, Recreation and Culture Facilities and Programming, Garbage Collection, Recycle Collection, Infrastructure Maintenance.
