The commercial water vending station located 720 – 10th Street West in the industrial area will see upgrades that may cause disruption in use. They may include lane closures or total closures to be able to facilitate the work. The Town of Kindersley will strive to notify the public as with as much notice as possible, but please be advised it may close at limited or no notice.
The upgrades will include underground upgrades and concrete work for both vending lanes. General landscaping will also occur as well as water hose changes.
*Please be advised that once changes are in effect every user must bring their own hose to connect to the valve system. This change is being implemented due to increased damage and contamination of public hoses.
If the use of this vending station affects you, be sure to watch our website and social media for further updates on scheduling and closures.
❗WATER VENDING PROJECT UPDATE❗
The concrete contractor is mobilizing to the area on Monday, April 20th to begin the water vending upgrade project.
At this time, we WILL accommodate hauling units to back in from 10th Street West to the vending station. Since all water is dispensed on the west side of the vending building this should allow for continued use. However, if we find any safety concerns or any issues arising from use of this facility during the upgrade we will close one or both lanes at any time.
Here is a drawing to illustrate the work area for better understanding.
