Municipal elections are scheduled for November 9. Have you thought about running for municipal council? Municipalities of Saskatchewan, the association that represents Saskatchewan’s hometowns, including the Town of Kindersley, is offering free virtual sessions on September 1 and 9 to anyone interested in learning more about being on municipal Council. In the first session, learn about the role of council, what your responsibilities are as a Councillor, and more. Town Council held their Special Meeting on Friday, July 31, 2020. The following agenda items were resolved. 5.1: The Council of the Town of Kindersley resolves to rescind Resolution No. 186-20 from the July 27, 2020 Regular Meeting of Council which reads as follows: "That the Council of the Town of Kindersley resolves to authorize AECOM to submit a change order to the Contech Contract for the Lagoon Project which shall remove the "desludging" component; and that which proceeds to add a "dredging and centrifuge" component to the Lagoon Project; and which enters into an agreement with TKC Trucking & Picker [...]
