Industrial Drainage and Roadway Project

The Town of Kindersley awarded the West Industrial Drainage and Roadway Project to Acadia Construction. This is a two (2) year project beginning in 2020 with finalization occurring in 2021. • 2020 - Phase One • 2021 - Phase Two This project will include the following: • Roadway and Ditch Improvements • Culvert Removals • Culvert Installation and Approach Construction Acadia Construction is beginning this project on May 19, 2020. Council Highlights – May 25, 2020 Regular Meeting of Council

Town Council held their Regular Meeting on Monday, May 25, 2020. The following agenda items were resolved. 126-20: The list of accounts as paid by the Town of Kindersley was accepted in the amount of $370,504.43. 127-20: Council approved the Consent Agenda including the following items: Correspondence for Acceptance and Filing (EK Water Board - April Pumping Report). 7.1: The following agenda item was presented for discussion: KCIP Grants Applications for the 2020-2021 intake were adjudicated and subsequently allocated to the following organizations with no funds remaining: • West Central Abilities - $1,250.00 • Community Services Kindersley - $5000.00 • Pathway [...]

National Public Works Week – May 17 to 23

May 17-23, 2020 was proclaimed as National Public Works Week. Council thanks these professionals for all that they do to ensure public health, high quality of life, and well-being of the residents in Kindersley. Council encourages residents to join in any ONLINE activities, events, and ceremonies designed to pay tribute to our public works professionals, engineers, managers, and employees. Council Highlights – May 11, 2020 Regular Meeting

Town Council held their Regular Meeting on Monday, May 11, 2020. The following resolutions were made regarding the Town of Kindersley Operating and Capital Budget for the Year 2020, the Municipal Property Tax Mill Rate, and the Community Grant Program. Any documents mentioned here can be viewed at www.kindersley.ca. The Town of Kindersley Operating and Capital Budget for the Year of 2020 was approved, which resulted in a 10% property tax reduction.
