Town Council held their Regular Meeting on Monday, March 8, 2021. The following agenda items were resolved.

5.2: The Council of the Town of Kindersley resolved to amend the agenda of the Regular Meeting of Council held March 8, 2021 to add: Item 7.6 2020 Reserves

7.1: Town Council approved the Discretionary Use Application (DU#21-04) for a Discretionary Use at the residence of #28 West Road. On the condition that it complies with the Development Standards of Discretionary Use pursuant to Section 4.11.3 (1) to (9), of Zoning Bylaw 04-14. On the condition that the Applicant obtains a Business License from the Town prior to operation, and every year of operation; and that if any of the conditions outlined above are not met for this proposed Discretionary Use, then the permit may not be approved and/or may be revoked.

7.2: Town Council approved the Discretionary Use Application (DU#21-03) for a Discretionary Use at the residence of 213 7th Avenue West. On the condition that it complies with the Development Standards of Discretionary Use pursuant to Section 4.11.3 (1) to (9), of Zoning Bylaw 04-14. On the condition that the Applicant obtains a Business License from the Town prior to operation, and every year of operation; and that if any of the conditions outlined above are not met for this proposed Discretionary Use, then the permit may not be approved and/or may be revoked.

7.3: Council resolved to direct the Mayor and Chief Administrative Officer (CAO) to enter into an Agreement with Saskatchewan Power Corporation for an Easement for right-of-way for the purpose of a powerline on, over, under, and/or through the parcel of land described as follows: Surface Parcel #119691029, Block C, Plan No. 91S19316, Extension 0, width of easement to be 3 Meters.

7.4: The Council of the Town of Kindersley resolved to award Loraas Environment Services Ltd. as the successful proponent for Curbside Collection Services as per the submitted and adjudicated proposal, and that the Mayor and Chief Administrative Officer (CAO) are directed to enter into a Waste Disposal and Recycling Collection Agreement for the above mentioned services.

7.5: Town Council resolved to award Western Salvage Ltd as the successful proponent for the Bailing Facility/Site Lease, as per the submitted and adjudicated tender, and that the Mayor and Chief Administrative Officer (CAO) are directed to enter into an Agreement for a term not to exceed one year for the above mentioned lease.

7.6: Council resolved to authorize Administration to amend the reserve transfers from the 2020 Budget to the following: 1. Unspecified Reserve-$0.00 and 2. Machinery & Equipment Reserve-$200,000.00.

8.1: The Council of the Town of Kindersley resolved to accept as submitted the list of accounts as paid by the Town of Kindersley and in the amount of $250,170.57.

9.1: Three readings of Bylaw 03-21, Being a Bylaw to Regulate Traffic in the Municipality of Kindersley were approved.

10.1: Town Council resolved to approve the Consent Agenda which includes the following items for acceptance and filing: 1. Kindersley Chamber of Commerce Minutes – Feb 4, 2021, 2. RCMP Kindersley Detachment Statistics – February 2021, 3. SK Watershed Authority Newsletter – February 2021.
