Currently, there are a number of residents in Kindersley and area, especially children, who are ill with the flu (includes significant vomiting and diarrhea). We are reminding everyone to please STAY HOME IF YOU ARE SICK!!Upon the reopening after the annual shutdown (October 25th, 2024), please do not visit the Kindersley Aquatic Centre (KAC) until you are 72 hours clear of flu symptoms. Unfortunately, an aquatic environment is an excellent place for germs to spread. If a pool becomes fouled due to vomiting or diarrhea, the facility, as a whole, will be closed for 24 hours, or longer, while the incident is addressed.
The KAC management and staff are dedicated to the health and safety of our community – this begins with the health and safety of those visiting our facility. Please help us keep our facility, and community, healthy and safe.
