In 1980, when Terry Fox was forced to end his Marathon of Hope, he said “All I can say is, if there’s any way I can get out there and finish it, I will”.
On Sunday, September 14th, a beautiful day in Kindersley, our community came together with that same determination-to finish it for Terry.
A heartfelt thank you to Kindersley and District Co-op and Save-On-Foods for their generous donations of water and granola bars and to the Kindersley Klippers for supporting the run. Most of all, thank you to everyone single person who came out to honour Terry’s legacy.
Together, Kindersley raised $4,410 for cancer research at this year’s run.
We’re proud to announce that all three local schools will be participating in the Terry Fox Walk on Friday at 10:30 am, to continue the legacy of hope, courage and determination.
