Mobile home communities such as Prairie Winds Estates, Golf View Estates, and others are privately owned. Property taxes are paid by the estate landowner and road and water infrastructure contained within these properties is also the responsibility of the land owner to maintain.
Mobile Estate Fees
The Mobile Home License Fees (MHLF) collected are broken down into Municipal MHLF and School MHLF. The School MHLF is collected on behalf of the school division and is remitted monthly to the Provincial Government.
The Municipal portion of the MHLF is collected to cover the following:
- Services:
- Fire (except false alarm calls)
- RCMP
- Bylaw Enforcement
- Animal Control
- Garbage Collection
- Animal Park
- Parks & Playgrounds
- Indoor Arenas
- Outdoor Arenas
- Aquatic Centre
- Sportsgrounds
- Infrastructure:
- Water lines bringing the water to town from the river
- Water treatment
- Water lines to the mobile home park
- Sewer lines from the mobile home park
- Lagoon
Effective January 1, 2015, as per the Mobile Home Bylaw 18-14, Kindersley Town Council approved an increase to the monthly license fees charged to mobile homes. These fees are as follows:

Mobile Home Licence Fees fund the following services:
Fire Protection, RCMP, Bylaw Enforcement, Animal Control, Parks, Recreation and Culture Facilities and Programming, Garbage Collection, Recycle Collection, Infrastructure Maintenance.
