We'd like to thank our Public Works department who worked day and night to fix the water leak at Snipe Lake! It's because of our awesome team that everyday services are maintained and available for our residents!
We thought our residents who are interested in the history of the area might enjoy a feature of McKenzie School and the history behind it! Bit of a longer watch, but worth checking out!

If you are attracting birds/bees/butterflies, be sure to continue taking care of your plants as the summer season winds down. These critters will likely be around until the weather starts to change. We are now drawing our water back directly from the river. During our repair of the leak that occurred on our source line we were drawing from the CN, our open water reservoir. We are extremely lucky that we have reservoirs to pull from in time of emergency. This ensures we do not have to implement water restrictions and can still supply water to our residents. Open water reservoirs, especially during summer and high heat provide challenges such as water odor. We can assure our residents that our water meets and exceeds government regulations.
