Funded by an SGI pedestrian safety grant, new high-visibility crosswalk lights have been installed on the north side of 6th Avenue and Main Street, as well as the south side of 7th Avenue and Main Street. These lights feature specialized, randomly flashing LEDs designed to immediately catch drivers’ attention when pedestrians are crossing.
