Last night at our first Regular Meeting of Council for the 2024-2028 term, the Official Swearing in Ceremony was performed. I lived on the farm at Mantario and took all my K-12 schooling in Eatonia. I attended Olds College after graduating from high school. Today Councillor Warren Schafer attended the Salvation Army Christmas Kettle Opening and came back to ring some bells during the afternoon! The Christmas Kettle donations stay with local families in need. The funds go towards local families in crisis, programming such as music and Bible camps for children, as well as purchasing ham and turkey for the Christmas Food Hampers.
