Pulling water from cn reservoir

Due to a power outage at our river pump station over the weekend we had to pull water briefly from the CN reservoir. Water maybe be discoloured or have a “earthy” smell. The water is safe for drinking and meets all the parameters set out by the Water Security Agency.

A friendly reminder that taxes are due by July 31, 2025 to avoid penalties. On August 1st, 2025, a penalty of 1.5% per month will be applied to late taxes as regulated in Bylaw 08-21. Preventative Plumbing Subsidy – Deadline Extended to December 2025

The Town of Kindersley is offering a one-time Preventative Plumbing Subsidy of up to $500 to help eligible residents disconnect storm infrastructure — such as weeping tile systems, sump pits, and eavestrough downspouts — from the municipal sanitary sewer system. Donations for Wildfire Evacuees

Thank you Kindersley The Town of Kindersley would like to thank this community for your generosity to help the evacuees of the wildfires. We have been notified that a truck is arriving this evening with basic supplies. Currently what is needed are games, puzzles, colouring books, crayons, soccer balls, jump ropes, and other toys to help keep children occupied. Donations of these items can be dropped off at the West Central Crisis Centre (105 Colton Drive) on Monday to Friday from 9am to 5pm. The Town of Kindersley will send out a notification should other items be needed. Thank you again!

Local Access Only – Coleman Crescent

Beginning tomorrow (May 27, 2025) we will have “Local Access Only” into Coleman Crescent. We will be completing water and sanitary sewer service tie-in for the new daycare facility that will be constructed on Thomson Drive. This is expected to occur for a few days. The limited access will consist of one lane traffic, so please slow down in this area. Expect traffic delays until this project is complete.

Passing this on for our friends at the Kindersley RCMP! SCAM information : Company Name: Redwood Paving Ltd. (falsely claiming to be from BC) Scam: Offering paving services using substandard materials (oiled gravel instead of real asphalt). Method: Demanding upfront payment and becoming aggressive if refused.
