The Water Vending Station is back in service!

Thank you for your patience during the Main Street project. We are pleased to share that the primary phase of the work has been completed. The Town undertook extensive underground upgrades, including the replacement of water mains, as well as a full reconstruction of the road base and surface. In addition, new sidewalks and gutters were installed to improve drainage. While the roadway may not appear fully finished at this stage, this is intentional. The Town will be conducting extensive asphalt patching on Tuesday, August 19 along O’Connor Court and O’Connor Crescent. To allow work to proceed safely and efficiently, please remove all vehicles from the street by 6:00 a.m. on Tuesday. Access to these areas will be partially restricted during the work. **Please note that the work is subject to delay depending on weather conditions** Any vehicles remaining on the street may be subject to towing. Due to a power outage at our river pump station over the weekend we had to pull water briefly from the CN reservoir. Water maybe be discoloured or have a “earthy” smell. The water is safe for drinking and meets all the parameters set out by the Water Security Agency.

POSTPONED: Patching on O’Connor has been postponed until later in the week. A notification will be handed out to each property.
