Council Highlights – February 13, 2023 Regular Meeting

On February 13, 2023, Town Council held their Regular Meeting. The following items were resolved: 7.1: The Council of the Town of Kindersley awarded IB Story Inc. as the successful bidder for the Engineering Arena Upgrade Services as per the submitted RFP, and that the Mayor and Chief Administrative Officer (CAO) are directed to enter into an agreement in the amount of $216,900.00 plus applicable taxes. 7.2: Council resolved to direct the Mayor and Chief Administrative Officer (CAO) to enter into a 1-year Economic Development Contract with ShaeCo Solutions for the Initiate Bundle in the amount of $4000/month plus applicable taxes. 72 Hour Parking in Residential Reminder

Is your vehicle covered in snow? This weekend is supposed to be nice and warm (+1 Degree) - fingers crossed so it will be a perfect time to dust the rest of the snow off and take it for a drive! Remember, vehicles are only to be parked on residential streets for 72 hours without moving!

Kindersley Fire – Training Exercise on Main Street

Kindersley Fire will be doing a mock exercise on the 100 block of Main Street, which will involve multiple pumpers and crews.   There will be disruptions in traffic in and around this area for up to 1.5 hours.   Please avoid this area during this training exercise.   Thanks for your cooperation.   -FC Jeff Soveran
