Council Highlights – April 11, 2023 Regular Meeting

On Tuesday, April 11, 2023, Town Council held their Regular Meeting. 7.1: The Council of the Town of Kindersley directed the Mayor and Chief Administrative Officer (CAO) to enter into an agreement with NRC Community Management Inc. for a three year term commencing May 1, 2023 to April 30, 2026. 8.1: Council resolved to accept as submitted the list of accounts as paid by the Town of Kindersley in the amount of $651,324.53. 9.1: Mayor Rod Perkins proclaimed April 16 to 22, 2023 as National Volunteer Week. Ice Removal – Decals

Another photo from the ice removal process. You may see the decals from the ice hanging up on the bleachers. The process for taking these out is simple but requires precision! The ice is shaved down as close to the logos and decals as possible. Hot water is poured on the ice around the decals to loosen it. The decal is taken by one end and lifted until it comes out of the ice. The decals dry off and are placed into storage for next season.

Springtime + Snow Removal

Spring is finally starting to come around and with that we want to say a huge T H A N K Y O U to those businesses that assisted us in snow removal efforts by abiding by our Snow Removal Bylaw 09-21. A few highlights from our bylaw consist of the following: No person shall move snow onto any public roadway, pathway, or property. No person shall move snow, ice, or other debris onto any neighboring property, including public property. Ice is All Gone – Events Centre Arena
