The Town Water Treatment Plant recently experienced a brief surge in high water usage, due to a water main break (300 to 319 – 6th Avenue West), which stirred up naturally occurring sediment in the main supply lines. As a result, you may notice discolouration or cloudiness coming from your taps. We recommend running your cold water tap for 1-2 minutes if you see any discolouration, which should clear the line quickly.
