Posting for our friends with Saskatchewan Health Authority!
A huge thank you to the RM of Kindersley No. 290 and the Town of Kindersley for their generous support of our healthcare team’s education and continuing learning!
On September 23 and 24, STARS brought a physician and flight nurse, along with two Advanced Care Paramedics from Saskatchewan Polytechnic in Saskatoon, to Kindersley Hospital. They joined our local team, including ACP Tracey Watt, Shelby Danychuk and Emergency Nurses Jill-Ann Snider and Heather Morris, to facilitate hands-on simulation training throughout the hospital.
The team worked through realistic rural emergency scenarios, providing valuable opportunities to strengthen skills, teamwork, communication and confidence in responding to critical situations. We are incredibly grateful for the support of our community partners, which helps make this important education and training possible and ultimately supports the delivery of quality healthcare in our community.
