Town Council held their Regular Meeting on Monday, November 30, 2020. The following agenda items were resolved.

5.2: The Council of the Town of Kindersley resolves to amend the agenda of the November 30, 2020 Regular Meeting of Council to add: Item 7.9 Crisis Centre Building Funds.

6.1: The Minutes from the November 16th, 2020 Regular Meeting of Council were approved.

7.1: The Council of the Town of Kindersley approved the Discretionary Use Application for a Temporary Bulk Fuel and Storage Facility located at 801-10th Street West on the condition that it complies with the Development Standards of Discretionary Commercial & Industrial Uses pursuant to Section 6.14.5.1 (a), of Zoning Bylaw 04-14. If any of the conditions outlined above are not met for this proposed Temporary Bulk Fuel and Storage Facility, then the permit may not be approved and/or may be revoked.

7.2: Council resolved to confirm that the municipality meets the following eligibility requirements to receive the Municipal Revenue Sharing Grant: 1. Submission of the 2019 Audited Financial Statement to the Ministry of Government Relations; 2. Submission of the 2019 Public Reporting on Municipal Waterworks to the Ministry of Government Relations; 3. In Good Standing with respect to the reporting and remittance of Education Property Taxes; 4. Adoption of a Council Procedures Bylaw; 5. Adoption of an Employee Code of Conduct; 6. All members of Council have filed and annually updated their Public Disclosure Statements, as required; and That Council authorizes the Chief Administration Officer to sign the Declaration of Eligibility and submit it to the Ministry of Government Relations.

7.3: The Council of the Town of Kindersley resolved that Regular Meetings for 2021 shall convene at 5:00pm and be held at the Town of Kindersley Council Chambers, located 106-5th Avenue East, Kindersley Saskatchewan, on dates set as follows: January – Monday, 11 and Monday, 25, February – Monday, 8 and Monday, 22, March – Monday, 8 and Monday, 22, April – Monday, 12 and Monday, 26, May – Monday, 10 and Tuesday, 25 (due to Victoria Day Monday), June – Monday, 14 and Monday, 28, July – Monday, 12 and Monday, 26, August – Monday, 9 and Monday, 23, September – Monday, 13 and Monday, 27, October – Tuesday, 12 (due to Thanksgiving Monday) and Monday, 25, November – Monday, 8 and Monday, 22, December – Monday, 13

7.4: The Terms of Reference for the Kindersley Regional Airport Committee were accepted as presented.

7.5: The Council of the Town of Kindersley resolved to approve the following appointments for a term beginning January 1, 2021 and which shall expire December 31, 2021: 1. Deputy Administrator: Kim Vogel; 2. Auditor: MNP LLP; 3. Assessor: Chief Administrative Officer, Audrey Hebert; 4. Building Officials: a. (Class 3) – Chris Gates of BuildTECH Consulting & Inspections Inc., b. (Class 2) – Jason Kent of BuildTECH Consulting & Inspections Inc., (Class 1) – Karly Heatcoat of BuildTECH Consulting & Inspections Inc.; 5. 7.6: Council resolved to approve the documents titled: 1. “Committees, Boards, and Appointments of the Council of the Town of Kindersley – November 30, 2020 to November 28, 2022; and 2. “Council of the Town of Kindersley List of Representation to Committees and Boards” – November 30, 2020 to Novembeer 28, 2022.

7.7: The Council resolved to authorize the 2020 Write-Offs as set out in accordance with; Schedule A – Accounts Recievable Write Off Listing – November 30, 2020, and Schedule B – Utility Write Off Listing – November 30, 2020, and Schedule C – Mobile Home License Fee Write Off Listing – November 30, 2020, as presented.

7.9: The Council of the Town of Kindersley resolves to commit $25,000.00 in additional funding in the year 2020, to the West Central Crisis and Family Support Centre Inc. for the office and programming facility building project; and that the funds be specified for the completion of roofing and heating system.

8.1: Council resolved to accept as submitted the list of accounts as paid by the Town of Kindersley and in the amount of $1, 329, 060.73.
