Town Council held a Regular Meeting on Monday, November 28, 2022.
7.2: The Council of the Town of Kindersley resolved to direct the Mayor and Chief Administrative Officer (CAO) to enter into an Advertising and Naming Rights Agreement with Kindersley & District Co-op.
7.3: Council resolved to direct the Mayor and Chief Administrative Officer (CAO) to enter into a Zamboni Sponsorship Agreement with Full-Tilt Holdings Ltd.
7.4: Town Council resolved to direct the Mayor and Chief Administrative Officer (CAO) to enter into an Airport Lease Agreement for lot 4 and 14 with Advanced Aviation/Kindersley Airspray at the Kindersley Regional Airport.
7.5: The Council of the Town of Kindersley hereby authorizes the 2022 Write-Offs as set out in accordance with;
Schedule A – Accounts Receivable and;
Schedule B – Utilities and;
Schedule C – Mobile Home License Fee
as attached to and forming a part of these minutes.
7.6: Council confirmed the municipality meets the following eligibility requirements to receive the Municipal Revenue Sharing Grant:
- Submission of the 2021 Audited Financial Statement to the Ministry of Government Relations
- Submission of the 2021 Public Reporting on Municipal Waterworks to the Ministry of Government Relations
- In Good Standing with respect to reporting and remittance of Education Property Taxes
- Adoption of a Council Procedures Bylaw
- Adoption of an Employee Code of Conduct
- All members of Council have filed and annually updated their Public Disclosure Statements as required and
And authorized the Chief Administrative Officer to sign the Declaration of Eligibility and submit it to the Ministry of Government Relations.
7.7: Town Council directed Administration to distribute approved funding to the following applicants from the Community Grant Program, 2022 Fall Intake:
Kindersley Players: $750.00
Kindersley Kinettes: $750.00
Kindersley Foodbank: $750.00
Kindersley & District Wellness Foundation: $750.00
Pathway to Wellness: $750.00
Kindersley Screen Arts: $750.00
West Central Abilities: $750.00
Kindersley Aquatic Centre: $750.00
Walking Trail: $750.00
Kindersley Chamber of Commerce: $750.00
For a total allocation amount of $7,500.00.
7.8: The Council of the Town of Kindersley resolved to approve the documents titled:
- “Committees, Boards, and Appointments of the Council of the Town of Kindersley – November 29, 2022 to November 12, 2024”
- “Council of the Town of Kindersley List of Representation to Committees and Boards – November 29, 2022 to November 12, 2024”
7.9: Council resolved that Regular Meetings for 2022 shall convene at 5:00pm and be held at the Town of Kindersley Council Chambers, located 106 5th Avenue East, Kindersley, Saskatchewan, on the dates set as follows:
January – Monday, 9 and Monday, 23
February – Monday, 13 and Monday, 27
March – Monday, 13 and Monday, 27
April – Tuesday, 11 (due to Easter Monday) and Monday, 24
May – Monday, 8 and Tuesday, 23 (Due to Victoria Day Monday)
June – Monday 12, and Monday, 26
July – Monday, 10 and Monday, 24
August – Monday, 14 and Monday, 28
September – Monday, 11 and Monday, 25
October – Tuesday, 14 (due to Remembrance Day) and Monday, 27

8.1: Town Council resolved to accept as submitted the list of accounts as paid by the Town of Kindersley in the amount of $1,203,605. 23.
9.1: The Council of the Town of Kindersley resolved to approve that Bylaw 08-22 Being a Bylaw to fix the rates to be charged for the use and consumption of water and to fix the rates to be charged for the discharge of wastewater into the sanitary sewer lagoon be read a third time and hereby be approved.
9.2: Council resolved to approve that Bylaw 09-22 Being a Bylaw to amend Bylaw 10-17, Being a Bylaw to regulate the Kindersley Regional Airport, and to provide for airport authority, rules, regulations, and fees be read a third time and hereby be approved.
