On Monday, November 27, 2023, Town Council held their Regular Meeting.
5.2: Council resolved to amend the Agenda of the November 27, 2023 Regular Meeting of Council to remove Agenda item 7.5.
7.2: The Council of the Town of Kindersley confirmed the municipality meets the following eligibility requirements to receive the Municipal Revenue Sharing Grant:
- Submission of the 2022 Audited Financial Statement to the Ministry of Government Relations;
- Submission of the 2022 Public Reporting on the Municipal Waterworks to the Ministry of Government Relations;
- In Good Standing with respect to the reporting and remittance of Education Property Taxes;
- Adoption of a Council Procedures Bylaw;
- Adoption of an Employee Code of Conduct;
- All members of council have filed and annually updated their Public Disclosure Statements, as required; and
That they authorize the Chief Administrative Officer to sign the Declaration of Eligibility and submit it to the Ministry of Government Relations.
7.3: The Council of the Town of Kindersley authorized the 2023 Write-Offs as set out in accordance with;
- Schedule B – Utilities and;
- Schedule C – Mobile Home License Fee
as attached to and forming a part of the minutes.
7.4: Town Council resolved that Regular Meetings for 2024 shall convene at 5:00PM and be held at the Town of Kindersley Council Chambers, located at 106-5th Avenue East, Kindersley, Saskatchewan, on dates set as follows:
- January – Monday, 8 and Monday, 22
- February – Monday, 12 and Monday, 26
- March – Monday, 11 and Monday, 25
- April – Monday, 8 and Monday, 22
- May – Monday, 13 and Monday, 27
- June – Monday, 10 and Monday, 24
- July – Monday, 8 and Monday, 22
- August – Monday, 12 and Monday, 26
- September – Monday, 9 and Monday, 23
- October – Tuesday, 15 (due to Thanksgiving Monday) and Monday, 28
- November – Tuesday, 12 (due to Remembrance Day) and Monday, 25
- December – Monday, 16
8.1: Council resolved to accept as submitted the list of accounts as paid by the Town of Kindersley in the amount of $293,878.70.
9.1: The Council of the Town of Kindersley resolved to approve the Consent Agenda which included the following items for acceptance and filing:
