Town Council held their Regular Meeting on Monday, May 25, 2021. The following agenda items were resolved.

7.1: The Council of the Town of Kindersley approved a Discretionary Use Application (DU#21-07) for a Discretionary Use at the residence of 117 Princess Street West on the condition that it complies with the Development Standards of Discretionary Use pursuant to Section 4.11.3 (1) to (9), of Zoning Bylaw 04-14. The Applicant must obtain a Business License from the Town prior to operation, and every year of operation. If any of the conditions outlined above are not met for this proposed Discretionary Use, then the permit may not be approved and/or may be revoked.

7.2: Town Council resolved to adopt the Town of Kindersley Operating and Capital Budget for the Year of 2021.

7.3: Council resolved to set the 2021 Municipal Property Tax Mill Rate at 10.6 mills.

7.4: The Council of the Town of Kindersley authorized the abatement of the 2021 municipal taxes in the amount of $16,501.98 as per the 2021 Municipal Tax Abatements (Non-Profit Organizations) Schedule A, as attached to and forming a part of these minutes.

7.5: Town Council authorized the abatement of the 2021 Municipal taxes, as per the attached Schedule B for properties assessed with no minimum.

8.1: Council resolved to accept as submitted the list of accounts as paid by the Town of Kindersley and in the amount of $509,512.60.

9.1: The Council of the Town of Kindersley approved four readings of Bylaw 04-21, Being a Bylaw to Regulate Traffic in the Municipality of Kindersley.

9.2: Town Council approved four readings of Bylaw 05-21, Being a Bylaw to Establish Mill Rate Factors.

9.3: Council approved four readings of Bylaw 06-21, Being a Bylaw to Provide for Minimum Amounts of Tax.

10.1: The Council of the Town of Kindersley resolved to approve the Consent Agenda which includes the following items for acceptance and filing: 1. April 2021 Policing Report, 2. 2020 SWRC AGM Minutes, 3. Certificate of Approval – proposed subdivision.
