Celebrating the Life of Rod Perkins
We will be closing the Town of Kindersley Administration Office today at 12:00pm for the afternoon to celebrate the life of our previous Mayor, Rod Perkins. Mayor Perkins was a local businessman, a board member for many organizations in town, and most importantly a family man who often spoke about spending time with his grandchildren. We knew him best in Council Chambers where he was a humble, compassionate, and well-educated colleague who truly wanted the best for the residents of the Town of Kindersley. We will miss his presence and his visits to our Town facilities so much.
If there is anyone who wishes to attend the service, it will be at 1:00pm today at the United Church (502 Main Street).
