Council Highlights – May 11, 2026 Regular Meeting

On Monday, May 11, 2026, Town Council had their Regular Meeting.

7.1: Council authorized the abatement of the 2026 Municipal taxes in the total amount of $16,998.84, as per Schedule B for properties assessed with two minimum taxes.

7.2: The Council of the Town of Kindersley authorized the abatement of 2026 Municipal taxes in the amount of $46,879.40 and School taxes in the amount of $21,015.83 as per the 2026 Tax Abatements (Non-Profit Organizations) Schedule.

7.3: Town Council authorized the Mayor and Chief Administrative Officer (CAO) to enter into a 3-year rental agreement at the West Central Events Centre with the Kindersley Junior Klipper Booster Club Inc.

7.4: Council resolved to accept G&C Asphalt, a division of COLAS Western Canada INC. as the successful bidder for the “Town of Kindersley 2026 Asphalt and Concrete Works Contract for Road Construction” as per the submitted tender. The Mayor and Chief Administrative Officer (CAO) were directed to enter into an agreement with G&C Asphalt for the amount of $740,066.25 plus applicable taxes.

7.5: The Council of the Town of Kindersley resolved to award Landmark Municipal Services ULC as the successful bidder for the “Water Tower Relining and Repairs” as per the summitted tender. The Mayor and Chief Administrative Officer (CAO) were directed to enter into an agreement with Landmark Municipal Services ULC with a reduced scope amount of $1,243,900.00 plus applicable taxes.
