Council Highlights – April 20, 2026 Regular Meeting

On Monday, April 20, 2026, Town Council had their Regular Meeting.

7.1: Council resolved to suspend the Regular Public Meeting for a Public Hearing to be convened to discuss the following item:

  1. Bylaw 03-26, a Bylaw to Amend Bylaw 02-22 The Zoning Bylaw.

7.2: As no members of the public attended the Public Hearing, it was concluded and the Regular Meeting of Council was resumed.

8.1: The Council of the Town of Kindersley directed Administration to distribute approved funding to the following applicants from the Community Grant Program, Spring 2026 intake:

8.2: Town Council authorized the Chief Administrative Officer to proceed under the Tax Enforcement Act with title acquisition of the properties:

  • Lot 21, Block 43, Plan 79S42101 Extension 0
  • Lot 12, Block 2, Plan G9, Extension 0
  • Lot 5, Block 3, Plan G9, Extension 0

8.3: Council resolved to adopt the Town of Kindersley Operating and Capital Budget for the Year of 2026.

8.4: The Council of the Town of Kindersley resolved that the Municipal Property Tax Mill Rate remains at 11.25 mills for 2026.

9.1: Council resolved to accept as submitted the list of accounts as paid by the Town of Kindersley in the amount of $313, 578.51 and Payroll in the amount of $89, 284.07.

Kindersley Lions Club

There will be an at an organizational meeting on Thursday April 23, 2026, at the Kindersley Inn at 7 p.m.
Are you passionate about Kindersley?
Are you a resident of Kindersley and area that is proud of your community?
Do you see a need in Kindersley you have a solution for?
Do you want to make Kindersley a better place to live?
If you answered yes to any of these questions, find out how you and like-minded people can make a difference with Lions service to Kindersley. Where there is a need there is a Lion.
Lions membership is open to anyone over the age of 18.
Volunteer Lions members from across Southern Saskatchewan laid the groundwork, getting information to businesses and organizations in Kindersley. Some members have already joined.
The sponsoring Lions Club, Eston 95, will be in attendance.
The Lions of Saskatchewan would like all interested parties to come find out about Lions Clubs International and the benefits for your Community.
