Council Highlights – November 24, 2025 Regular Meeting
On Monday, November 24, 2025, Town Council had their Regular Meeting.
7.1: Council heard a presentation from the RCMP regarding their Mayor’s Report.
8.1: Chief Administrative Officer (CAO) Marty Baroni presented the Financial Report.
8.2: The Council of the Town of Kindersley recommended that:
- Curtis Sackville
- Kim Vogel
- Warren Schafer
- Randy Ervine
Become representatives to the Executive Board of the Western Regional Landfill Inc. as the four (4) positions allotted for Kindersley as per the per capita Western Regional Landfill Inc. (WRLI) Executive Board structure and that the recommended representatives may be formally adopted to the Executive Board at the 2025 Annual WRLI AGM held on December 10, 2025.
8.3: Town Council directed Administration to distribute approved funding to the following applicants from the Community Grant Program, Fall 2025 intake:

8.4: The Council of the Town of Kindersley supported and authorized the Town of Kindersley to be an applicant to the Canadian Housing Infrastructure Fund for the purposes of seeking grant funding for the Rosedale Lift Project.
8.5: Town Council approved the Kindersley Fire Department’s Standard Operating Guidelines.
9.1: Council resolved to accept as submitted the list of accounts as paid by the Town of Kindersley in the amount of $259,772.11.

Councillor Kevin Martin enjoyed decorating Smile Cookies yesterday with the Heritage Manor volunteers! Get your Smile Cookies before they are gone and support our local senior citizens! Proceeds will be shared equally between Tim Hortons Foundation Camps, and the Kindersley Heritage Manor Dining Room Project! ![]()

Council Highlights – November 10, 2025 Regular Meeting
On Monday, November 10, 2025, Town Council had their Regular Meeting.
8.1: Council confirmed the municipality meets the following eligibility requirements to receive the Municipal Revenue Sharing Grant:
- Submission of the 2024 Audited Financial Statement to the Ministry of Government Relations;
- Submission of the 2024 Public Reporting on Municipal Waterworks to the Ministry of Government Relations;
- In Good Standing with respect to the reporting and remittance of Education Property Taxes;
- Adoption of a Council Procedures Bylaw;
- Adoption of an Employee Code of Conduct;
- All members of Council have filed and annually updated their Public Disclosure Statements, as required; and
Council authorized the Chief Administrative Officer to sign the Declaration of Eligibility and submit it to the Ministry of Government Relations.
8.2: The Council of the Town of Kindersley resolved to direct the Mayor and Chief Administrative Officer (CAO) to enter into an Airport Lease Agreement with Tarrickfic Aerial for the term of 5 years from November 1st, 2025 to October 31st, 2030.
8.3: Each year Tim Hortons asks Council to assist volunteers from local charities to help decorate cookies for Spring and Holiday Smile Cookie Weeks. This year, for Holiday Smile Cookie Week, the Heritage Manor was chosen to receive the funds raised. The funding will go towards giving the residents the extras they deserve to feel comfortable and at home.
9.1: Town Council resolved to accept as submitted the list of accounts as paid by the Town of Kindersley in the amount of $860,419.98.
