If 10 People Are Missed

– $16,081.50 over the 5-year census cycle
If 100 People Are Missed
– $32,163 lost per year
– $160,815 over the 5-year census cycle
Why This Matters in a Town Like Kindersley
– From the 2021 census, Kindersley has 4,567 residents
– Missing 100 people is nearly 2.19% of the entire community
– Saskatchewan uses census population numbers directly in Municipal Revenue Sharing (MRS) calculations
