The National Day of Mourning is not only a day to remember and honour those lives lost or injured due to a workplace tragedy, but also a day to collectively renew our commitment to improve health and safety in the workplace and prevent further injuries, illnesses and deaths.

Mayor Rod Perkins proclaimed in the Town of Kindersley that April 28, 2023 be recognized as A Day of Mourning for Persons Killed or Injured in the Workplace. WHEN WILL THE STREET SWEEPER BE ON MY STREET!?

WHEN WILL THE STREET SWEEPER BE ON MY STREET!? We know it's already dusty and some of the snow hasn't even melted yet. All of the gravel we had to put down over winter has to end up somewhere. Please bear with us as we start our spring cleaning. We will not be following the "Street Sweeping Schedule" until May, we will just be taking care of the areas that are the worst, while trying to avoid the last little bit of snow and ice on some roads. Springtime + Snow Removal

Spring is finally starting to come around and with that we want to say a huge T H A N K  Y O U to those businesses that assisted us in snow removal efforts by abiding by our Snow Removal Bylaw 09-21. Elm Tree Pruning Ban April 1 to August 31

Dutch Elm Disease (DED) is a deadly fungus that can kill an elm in as little as three weeks by clogging its water-conducting vessels. Once a tree is infected by DED, it needs to be removed and disposed of properly by either burying it or burning it. The Town of Kindersley is dedicated to keeping DED out of our community. Every year the Saskatchewan Dutch Elm Disease Association (SDEDA) implements a pruning ban from April 1 to August 31.
