On Monday, September 28, 2026, Town Council had their Regular Meeting.
7.1: The Regular Public Meeting was suspended to open a Public Hearing to discuss the following item: Zoning Bylaw 02-22 Amendment 09-26.
7.2: Upon no attendance from the public, the Public Hearing was concluded and the Regular Meeting of Council resumed.
8.1: Chief Administrative Officer (CAO) Marty Baroni presented the Financial Report for August 2026.
8.2: Council approved the Discretionary Use Application (26-10) for Discretionary Use at 300 – 8th Avenue West on the condition that it complies with the Development Standards of Discretionary Use pursuant to Section 5, of the Zoning Bylaw 02-22. If any of the conditions outlined are not met with this proposed Discretionary Use, then the permit may not be approved and/or may be revoked.
8.3: The Council of the Town of Kindersley resolved that the following properties are being used or planned to be used by the Town of Kindersley, that administration is is directed to cancel the outstanding municipal taxes for Lot 1, Block 44, Plan G743 and PT SE 1/4 9-29-23 in the total amount of $3,662.71 and remit the total outstanding school taxes in the amount of $2,909.54.
9.1: Town Council resolved to accept as submitted the list of accounts as paid by the Town of Kindersley in the amount of $521,957.31 and Payroll in the amount of $103,030.67.
10.1: Council approved the second and third readings of Bylaw 09-26 Being a Bylaw to Amend Bylaw 02-22 The Zoning Bylaw.
10.2 The Council of the Town of Kindersley approved the first reading of Bylaw 10-26, Being a Bylaw to Amend Bylaw 02-22 The Zoning Bylaw.
11.1: Council resolved to approve the Consent Agenda which included the following items for acceptance and filing:
- WRLI – Board Meeting Minutes – July 28, 2026
