On Monday, September 14, 2026, Town Council had their Regular Meeting.

The Mayor addressed two separate serious animal incidents that occurred in Kindersley and in the RM of Kindersley.

7.1: Council approved a Discretionary Use Application (26-09) for Discretionary Use at 608 – 12th Avenue East on the condition that it complies with the Development Standards of Discretionary Use pursuant to Section 5, of Zoning Bylaw 02-22. If any of the conditions outlined above are not met with this proposed Discretionary Use, then the permit may not be approved and/or may be revoked.

7.2: The Council of the Town of Kindersley resolved that the following properties received no tenders and will remain in tax title property:

  • Lot 3, Block 5, Plan G9, Extension 0
  • Lot 12, Block 2, Plan G9, Extension 0
  • Lot 5, Block 3, Plan G9, Extension 0

And that the following properties tenders are awarded as follows:

  • Lot 3, Block 2, Plan G776, Extension 0 received two tenders and the Town awarded the tender to Trevis Ventures Ltd. in the amount of $620,000
  • Lot 4 & 5, Block 5, Plan G9, Extension 0 received two tenders and the Town awarded the tender to Ryan McCormac in the amount of $25,000
  • Lot 21, Block 43, Plan 79S42101, Extension 0 received one tender and the Town awarded the tender to W. McCorriston in the amount of $17,700

Council authorized administration to forward the proceeds in excess of the arrears amount owing on Lot 4 & 5, Block 5, Plan G9, Extension 0 to the former owner of the property if applicable and to cancel the remaining arrears for Lot 21, Block 43, Plan 79S42101, Extension 0 and for Lot 3, Block 2, Plan G776, Extension 0.

8.1: Town Council resolved to accept as submitted the list of accounts as paid by the Town of Kindersley in the amount of $494,522.12 and Payroll in the amount of $126,132.46.

9.1: The Council of the Town of Kindersley resolved to approve the Consent Agenda which included the following items for acceptance and filing:
