Do - The proper use of a folding lock to secure the rear wheel and the frame to a proper bike rack.

As our children once again start to enjoy the outdoors on bicycles, please review with them proper bike safety. Things to include are; use of the road rules, hand signals, a quick check of bike condition, and fit of helmets. Bylaw 04-21 (The Traffic Bylaw) Section 64.1 requires all youth under the age of 14 to wear a PROPERLY fitted, and fastened, approved protective helmet. Our Municipal Enforcement Officer and local RCMP members are excited to work with the schools in Kindersley and will be doing Bicycle Safety Presentations in April. Please Be Aware of the Dimensions of Your Vehicle

Please be aware of the dimensions of your vehicle. As per Bylaw 04-21, The Traffic Bylaw, “No Parking so that any portion of the vehicle extends over a sidewalk or sidewalk crossing” (Section 14.1 Subsection i). Parking in such a manner may impede or prevent someone with a physical disability from passing. Parking in this manner may cause injury to those passing by.

Council Highlights – March 28, 2022 Regular Meeting

Town Council held a Regular Meeting on Monday, March 28, 2022. Congrats Outlook Ice Hawks!

It's hard to admit defeat, but congrats to our friends the Outlook Ice Hawks Senior Hockey Team in Town of Outlook on their win. Mayor Perkins will be ready to sport your jersey at SUMA with a big smile on his face! A big congrats to our own Kindersley Senior Klippers Hockey Club for putting up a good fight! We can't wait for next season!

SAMA Letters Arriving in Your Mailbox

The properties within the Town of Kindersley will be having a physical reinspection completed by the Saskatchewan Assessment Management Agency (SAMA). The physical inspection process has SAMA looking at each property and will identify any changes. The reassessment that happened in 2021 is done every four years and is based on the same property information that was on file. It does not consider any improvement changes or increased depreciation.
