Proper Bike Safety

As our children once again start to enjoy the outdoors on bicycles, please review with them proper bike safety. Things to include are; use of the road rules, hand signals, a quick check of bike condition, and fit of helmets. Bylaw 04-21 (The Traffic Bylaw) Section 64.1 requires all youth under the age of 14 to wear a PROPERLY fitted, and fastened, approved protective helmet. Our Municipal Enforcement Officer and local RCMP members are excited to work with the schools in Kindersley and will be doing Bicycle Safety Presentations in April.
