Council Highlights - February 25 Town Council held their Regular Meeting on Monday, February 25, 2019. The following resolutions were made regarding a new Deputy Mayor, an Easement Agreement with Peavey Mart, and Bylaw 02-19. Councillor Randy Ervine was appointed to serve as the Deputy Mayor as Deputy Mayor Shaun Henry and his family will be moving from the Town of Kindersley. Mayor Perkins thanked Deputy Mayor Henry for his years of Council Involvement and community service. Council Highlights-February 11, 2019 Regular Meeting
Council Highlights-February 11 Town Council held their Regular Meeting on Monday, February 11, 2019. The following resolutions were made about the Highway 7 Corridor Study, amendments to Bylaw 04-14, and amendments to bylaw 03-14. A Public Hearing was held to discuss Bylaw 01-19, a Bylaw to amend Bylaw No. 03-14, known as the Official Community Plan of the Town of Kindersley. After no objections from the public, the second reading was approved. A Non-Exclusive Occupancy Agreement with KAWS Animal Rescue was entered for a period of two years. Training is ongoing and our representatives are working hard to ensure we have a facility that is the safest it can be for our residents and guests! Town Council held their Regular Meeting on Monday, January 28, 2019. The following resolutions were made regarding the date of the by-election, the SaskAlert system, and a website provider.April 3rd, 2019 will be the date of the by-election for the vacated seat of Councillor. CAO Audrey Hebert was named Returning Officer for said by-election. It was resolved that as previous Town Council Elections, Criminal Record Checks must accompany election nomination forms. Town Council held their Regular Meeting on Monday, January 14, 2019. The following resolutions were made regarding an Assignment of Lease Agreement at the Kindersley Airport, an agreement for recreational software, and updating of Bylaws.Council approved an Assignment of Lease Agreement for Lot 10 and Lot 11 at the Kindersley Airport in conjunction with, and for the duration of the W.
