On Monday, November 14, 2023, Town Council held their Regular Meeting.
7.1: The Council of the Town of Kindersley directed Administration to distribute approved funding to the following applicants from the Community Grant Program, Fall 2023 intake:
- Kindersley Chamber of Commerce – $750.00
- Pathway to Wellness – $750.00
- Kindersley Museum – $750.00
- Kindersley Crisis Centre – $750.00
- Kindersley & District Health and Wellness – $750.00
- KAWS – $750.00
- Kindersley Screen Arts – $750.00
- NRC Management Group – $750.00
8.1: Council resolved to accept as submitted the list of accounts as paid by the Town of Kindersley in the amount of $672,620.97.
9.1: Mayor Rod Perkins proclaimed November 18 to 26, 2023 as Saskatchewan Multicultural Week in the Town of Kindersley. Council urges Kindersley residents to visit www.mcos.ca to find more information about multiculturalism in Saskatchewan.
10.1: Town Council resolved to approve the Consent Agenda which includes the following items for acceptance and filing:
- October 2023 Kindersley Policing Report
- Kindersley Chamber Minutes – October 26, 2023
- Downtown Kindersley Association Minutes – November 7, 2023
- Stars – October 31, 2023 SUMA Letter
