Main Street Paving Project
Thank you for your patience during the Main Street project. We are pleased to share that the primary phase of the work has been completed. The Town undertook extensive underground upgrades, including the replacement of water mains, as well as a full reconstruction of the road base and surface. In addition, new sidewalks and gutters were installed to improve drainage.
While the roadway may not appear fully finished at this stage, this is intentional. We are allowing the new infrastructure to settle through a freeze–thaw cycle. Next year, a final layer of asphalt will be applied to ensure a smooth, durable, and properly functioning roadway
