Council Highlights – August 12, 2024 Regular Meeting
On Monday, August 12, 2024, Town Council held their Regular Meeting.
6.1: Council resolved to approve as presented the Minutes from the July 22, 2024 Regular Meeting of Council.
7.1: The Council of the Town of Kindersley heard a presentation by a duly recognized delegation, Michelle & Michael Tunnicliffe regarding Rosedale Storm Drainage. Some possible solutions to the problem presented by the delegation are: the $500.00 Preventative Plumbing Subsidy which is already available to residents, adding flow meters to some lines, and more bylaw enforcement regarding sump pump regulations.
8.1: Town Council resolved to direct the Mayor and Chief Administrative Officer (CAO) to enter into an Agreement with SaskEnergy Incorporated for a Utility Easement.
8.2: Council resolved to direct the Mayor and Chief Administrative Officer (CAO) to enter into a Consulting Services Agreement with 102121429 Saskatchewan Ltd. (CCASK Construction Code Authority) for the purpose of conducting building inspections in the Town of Kindersley.
8.3: The Council of the Town of Kindersley approved the Town’s Fee Schedule Related to Planning and Development as attached.
9.1: Town Council resolved to accept as submitted the list of accounts as paid by the Town of Kindersley in the amount of $2,926,794.69.
10.1: Council resolved to approve the Consent Agenda which includes the following items for acceptance and filing:

- WRLI Meeting Minutes – May 27, 2024
- WLI Meeting Minutes – June 26, 2024
