Salvation Army Christmas Kettle Opening 2024

Today Councillor Warren Schafer attended the Salvation Army Christmas Kettle Opening and came back to ring some bells during the afternoon!
The Christmas Kettle donations stay with local families in need. The funds go towards local families in crisis, programming such as music and Bible camps for children, as well as purchasing ham and turkey for the Christmas Food Hampers.
We encourage our residents to donate if you are able. If you are unable to donate, but can give time, the Salvation Army is still looking for volunteers to help out with ringing the bells and taking donations both cash in the bubble and through tap on the sign. If you are interested in ringing bells, please contact Jodi Geddes by email at: jodi-4@hotmail.com
