Preventative Plumbing Subsidy – Deadline Extended to December 2025
The Town of Kindersley is offering a one-time Preventative Plumbing Subsidy of up to $500 to help eligible residents disconnect storm infrastructure — such as weeping tile systems, sump pits, and eavestrough downspouts — from the municipal sanitary sewer system.
Eligible areas include:
• Rosedale
• Overlord Crescent
• 13th Avenue RA District
• 300 Block of 2nd Avenue East
• Work must be completed by a certified professional.
Subsidy extended until December 2025!
This initiative plays a key role in protecting our community — and we’re happy to report that the recent heavy rainfall had no adverse effects on the Town’s sanitary system, thanks in part to proactive measures like this.
Let’s keep up the momentum! Take advantage of the subsidy to help safeguard your property and our shared infrastructure.
Council News – June 23, 2025 Regular Meeting
On Monday, June 23, 2025, Town Council had their Regular Meeting.
7.1: The financial report from May 2025 was presented to Council.
7.2: The Council of the Town of Kindersley resolved to approve the amended Social Media Policy in the Town of Kindersley Human Resource Policy Manual.
8.1: Council resolved to accept as submitted the list of accounts as paid by the Town of Kindersley in the amount of $677,349.39.
9.1: Town Council resolved to approve the Consent Agenda which included the following items for acceptance and filing:

- WCMGC ATPC Letter to Stakeholders – June 2025
- NRC Committee Minutes – June 11, 2025
- KRPA Meeting Minutes – May 29, 2025
