Day One of Smile Cookie Week! Be sure to head down to our local Tim Hortons and grab a cookie decorated by our very own Councillor Rob Anderson and Museum Board Member Norman Wiggins! All proceeds of this week’s Smile Cookies will go to the Kindersley Museum to help them repair their leaking roof!

On Monday, April 28, 2025, Town Council had their Regular Meeting.
7.1: The Kindersley RCMP presented their Quarterly Progress Report (January 1st to March 31st). Items to note included:
- Priority – Community Engagement
- Priority – Crime Reduction
- Calls for Service
- Major Events

8.1: The Council of the Town of Kindersley resolved to award G & C Asphalt as the successful bidder for the 2025 Asphalt Paving Program as per the submitted tender. The Mayor and Chief Administrative Officer (CAO) were directed to enter into an agreement in the amount of $1,501,495.04 plus applicable taxes.
8.2: Council resolved to award Stantec as the successful bidder for the WCEC Engineering Services as per the submitted tender. The Mayor and Chief Administrative Officer (CAO) were directed to enter into an agreement in the amount of $5,800.00 plus applicable taxes.
8.3: Town Council directed Administration to distribute approved funding to the following applicants from the Community Grant Program, Spring 2025 intake:
- Kindersley Swim Club – $750.00
- Kindersley Chamber – $750.00
- Kindersley Museum – $750.00
- KAWS – $750.00
- Pathway to Wellness – $750.00
- Studio 306 Market – $750.00
- Kindersley Soccer – $750.00
for a total allocation amount of $5,250.00.
8.4: The Council of the Town of Kindersley resolved to direct Administration to send a letter of support for the application to have the Canadian Armed Forces do a fly over in Kindersley.
