Last week we sent out your Property Tax Notices. When you receive it, you will also receive this info sheet regarding how your taxes work, what percentage goes to each part of our municipality, how to pay, and how taxes are calculated.
It is important to note that the 2025 reassessment brought a shift in the property classes which resulted in a loss of 14 million in taxable assessment. This means ratepayers may have a decrease or increase depending on the class shift.
