Council Highlights – July 31, 2020 Special Meeting
Town Council held their Special Meeting on Friday, July 31, 2020. The following agenda items were resolved.
5.1: The Council of the Town of Kindersley resolves to rescind Resolution No. 186-20 from the July 27, 2020 Regular Meeting of Council which reads as follows: “That the Council of the Town of Kindersley resolves to authorize AECOM to submit a change order to the Contech Contract for the Lagoon Project which shall remove the “desludging” component; and that which proceeds to add a “dredging and centrifuge” component to the Lagoon Project; and which enters into an agreement with TKC Trucking & Picker Service to provide the aforesaid “dredging and centrifuge” component.”
5.2: The Council of the Town of Kindersley resolves to authorize AECOM Change Order Record No. 5A regarding Lagoon & Waste Water Upgrades.

Council Highlights – July 27, 2020 Regular Meeting
Town Council held their Regular Meeting on Monday, July 27, 2020. The following agenda items were resolved.
5.2: The Council of the Town of Kindersley resolves to amend the agenda of the July 27, 2020 Regular Meeting of Council to add item number: 7.3: Amend a Contract.
7.2: The Council of the Town of Kindersley resolves that in accordance with the Tax Enforcement Act, the Chief Administrative Officer is hereby authorized to proceed with tax enforcement on those properties listed in: Schedule “A” to Tax Enforcement Report to Council.
7.3: That the Council of the Town of Kindersley resolves to Authorize AECOM to submit a change order to the Contech Contract, for the Lagoon Project which shall remove the “desludging” component; and that proceeds with a “dredging and centrifuge” component for the Lagoon Project; and to enter into an agreement with TKC Trucking & Picker Service to provide said “dredging and centrifuge” component.
8.1: That the Council of the Town of Kindersley resolves to accept as submitted the list of accounts as paid by the Town of Kindersley and in the amount of
$1,022,837.50.
9.1: That the Council of the Town of Kindersley resolves to approve the Consent Agenda including the following items: Correspondence for Acceptance and Filing: SaskWater – Operational Report – June 2020, and SaskWater – 2021 Monthly Fee Notification – July 6, 2020.
