Council Highlights – September 14, 2020 Regular Meeting
Town Council held their Regular Meeting on Monday, September 14, 2020. The following agenda items were resolved.
7.1: The Council of the Town of Kindersley resolved to authorize AECOM Change Order No. 2 regarding the Industrial Drainage and Roadway Project.
7.2: The Council of the Town of Kindersley resolved to direct the Mayor and Chief Administrative Officer (CAO) to enter into a Lease Agreement with Kindersley Airspray Ltd.
7.4: The Council of the Town of Kindersley resolved to direct the Mayor and Chief Administrative Officer (CAO) to enter into an agreement with Craig Baird of Canadian History Ehx to produce a podcast episode about Kindersley, and that the cost of the podcast shall not exceed a one-time fee $250 plus applicable taxes.
7.5: The Council of the Town of Kindersley resolved to direct Administration to amend the Lease Agreement with Bear Hills Media Group Inc. dated March 13, 2018, with a term ending December 31, 2022, so that Clause 4. regarding rent is amended to 10% off.
7.6: The Council of the Town of Kindersley resolved to rescind Resolution 76-20 from the April 13th, 2020 Regular Meeting of Council, and that Administration is hereby authorized to pay to the Kindersley Plains Museum a total of $13,089 for the completed sewer line connection cost.
8.1: The Council of the Town of Kindersley resolves to accept as submitted the list of accounts as paid by the Town of Kindersley and in the amount of $2,389,868.80.

Smile Cookies 2020
We are SO excited to announce that our local Tim Hortons has chosen to donate their smile cookie money to another community initiative! This year the proceeds of the cookies will go towards the ongoing refurbishing of the Basketball and Tennis Court area beside the KAC!
