Council Highlights – February 8, 2021 Regular Meeting
Town Council held their Regular Meeting on Monday, February 8, 2021. The following agenda items were resolved.
Council approved an Application for a Discretionary Use at the residence of 36 Kay Crescent. On the condition that it complies with the Development Standards of Discretionary Use pursuant to Section 4.11.3 (1) to (9), of Zoning Bylaw 04-14. On the condition that the Applicant obtains a Business License from the Town prior to operation, and every year of operation, and that if any conditions outlined above are not met for this proposed Discretionary Use, then the permit may not be approved and/or may be revoked.
The list of accounts as paid by the Town of Kindersley was accepted as submitted in the amount of $135,021.14.
The Council of the Town of Kindersley resolved to approve the Consent Agenda which includes the following items for acceptance and filing:
1. Kindersley RCMP Detachment – Statistics to January 28, 2021
2. Ministry of the Environment – Cell 1B Approval – January 28, 2021
3. Chamber of Commerce – Board Meeting Minutes – January 7, 2021
4. Chamber of Commerce – Board Meeting Agenda – February 4, 2021

Council Highlights – January 25, 2021 Regular Meeting
Town Council held their Regular Meeting on Monday, January 25, 2021. The following agenda items were resolved.
Council resolved to amend the Agenda of the January 25, 2021 Regular Meeting to remove Item: No. 7.3 Field of Honour – Request to Inter an Urn; and No. 9.1 Bylaw 01-21; and that Administration is further directed to discuss their matter with the Kindersley Branch of the Royal Canadian Legion and provide to Council an opinion from them in writing.
A resolution was made to direct Administration to complete and sign the Certificate of Clerk of Local Authority and sign the Condo-Local Certificate for the Surface Condo Development located at Lot 14, Block 20, Plan G697.
The Council resolved to accept as submitted the list of accounts as paid by the Town of Kindersley and in the amount of $300,462.86.
A resolution was made to approve the Consent Agenda which includes the following items for acceptance and filing: 1. SaskWater – WTP Operational Report – December 2020 2. SSRWSI – Year in Review in Newsletter – December 2020.
