Council Highlights – March 28, 2022 Regular Meeting
Town Council held a Regular Meeting on Monday, March 28, 2022. The following agenda items were resolved.
7.1: The Council of the Town of Kindersley suspended the Regular Public meeting at 7:10pm to host a Public Hearing to discuss the following item:
- Bylaw 02-22, a Bylaw to regulate zoning in the Town of Kindersley
7.2: Hearing no concerns from the public, the Public Hearing was concluded at 7:11pm and the Regular Meeting of Council was resumed.
8.1: Council resolved that in relation to File T0157-22S located at NE 1/4 Sec. 2 Twp. 29 Rge. 23 W3, for a Plan of Proposed Subdivision in the Town of Kindersley, and the Community Planning District of the Government of Saskatchewan’s request that the Council of the Town of Kindersley comment on the application; The Council of the Town of Kindersley is not aware of any land or site conditions that would be incompatible with the intended use of the proposed application; The Council of the Town of Kindersley facilities affected by the proposed development would include the underground water and sewer infrastructure and road systems in this area; The intended use for this land listed on the application complies with the Town of Kindersley Zoning Bylaw 04-14 and including the Town of Kindersley Zoning Bylaw 02-22 that is currently under review and awaiting Ministerial Approval; The Council of the Town of Kindersley does require the applicant to provide municipal reserve land; The Council of the Town of Kindersley does require the applicant to enter into a […]
Congrats Outlook Ice Hawks!
It’s hard to admit defeat, but congrats to our friends the Outlook Ice Hawks Senior Hockey Team in Town of Outlook on their win. Mayor Perkins will be ready to sport your jersey at SUMA with a big smile on his face! A big congrats to our own Kindersley Senior Klippers Hockey Club for putting up a good fight! We can’t wait for next season!

Council Highlights – March 14, 2022 Regular Meeting
Town Council held a Regular Meeting on Monday, March 14, 2022. The following agenda items were resolved.
7.1: The Council of the Town of Kindersley resolved that in relation to the application to Subdivide Land R5-22S for a proposed residential subdivision located in the RM of Kindersley at NE-33-28-23-W3M, and the Community Planning District of the Government of Saskatchewan’s request that the Council of the Town of Kindersley comment on the application;
That the Council of the Town of Kindersley is not aware of any land or site conditions that would be incompatible with the intended use of the proposed application; and
That the Council of the Town of Kindersley does not have any facilities affected by the proposed development.
8.1: Council resolved to accept as submitted the list of accounts as paid by the Town of Kindersley and in the amount of $359,070.96.
9.1: Town Council resolved to approve the first reading of Bylaw 01-22, Being a Bylaw to Provide for the Care and Control of Animals in the Town of Kindersley.
10.1: The Council of the Town of Kindersley resolved to approve the Consent Agenda which includes the following items for acceptance and filing:
- Letter from Office of the Official Opposition
- Kindersley RCMP Feb 2022 Policing Report
- Kindersley Chamber of Commerce Minutes – Nov 4, 2021 & Jan 13, 2022
