Council Highlights – August 12, 2024 Regular Meeting
On Monday, August 12, 2024, Town Council held their Regular Meeting.
6.1: Council resolved to approve as presented the Minutes from the July 22, 2024 Regular Meeting of Council.
7.1: The Council of the Town of Kindersley heard a presentation by a duly recognized delegation, Michelle & Michael Tunnicliffe regarding Rosedale Storm Drainage. Some possible solutions to the problem presented by the delegation are: the $500.00 Preventative Plumbing Subsidy which is already available to residents, adding flow meters to some lines, and more bylaw enforcement regarding sump pump regulations.
8.1: Town Council resolved to direct the Mayor and Chief Administrative Officer (CAO) to enter into an Agreement with SaskEnergy Incorporated for a Utility Easement.
8.2: Council resolved to direct the Mayor and Chief Administrative Officer (CAO) to enter into a Consulting Services Agreement with 102121429 Saskatchewan Ltd. (CCASK Construction Code Authority) for the purpose of conducting building inspections in the Town of Kindersley.
8.3: The Council of the Town of Kindersley approved the Town’s Fee Schedule Related to Planning and Development as attached.
9.1: Town Council resolved to accept as submitted the list of accounts as paid by the Town of Kindersley in the amount of $2,926,794.69.
10.1: Council resolved to approve the Consent Agenda which includes the following items for acceptance and filing:

- WLI Meeting Minutes – June 26, 2024

We have put some (human and animal safe) treatment into the water at the Motherwell Beach, it may resemble blue Kool-Aid at this time. It will help with maintaining water quality and will dissipate as it circulates!
Spraying the Motherwell Reservoir Aug 13, 2024
We will be spraying the Motherwell Beach for mosquitos tomorrow (Aug 13) morning. After it is sprayed, we recommend you stay away from the area for 24 hours. It will be open for Wednesday (Aug 14) morning to kick-off the Grand Opening at 11:30am!
