Council Highlights – March 28, 2022 Regular Meeting

Town Council held a Regular Meeting on Monday, March 28, 2022. The following agenda items were resolved.

7.1: The Council of the Town of Kindersley suspended the Regular Public meeting at 7:10pm to host a Public Hearing to discuss the following item:

  1. Bylaw 02-22, a Bylaw to regulate zoning in the Town of Kindersley

7.2: Hearing no concerns from the public, the Public Hearing was concluded at 7:11pm and the Regular Meeting of Council was resumed.

8.1: Council resolved that in relation to File T0157-22S located at NE 1/4 Sec. 2 Twp. 29 Rge. 23 W3, for a Plan of Proposed Subdivision in the Town of Kindersley, and the Community Planning District of the Government of Saskatchewan’s request that the Council of the Town of Kindersley comment on the application; The Council of the Town of Kindersley is not aware of any land or site conditions that would be incompatible with the intended use of the proposed application; The Council of the Town of Kindersley facilities affected by the proposed development would include the underground water and sewer infrastructure and road systems in this area; The intended use for this land listed on the application complies with the Town of Kindersley Zoning Bylaw 04-14 and including the Town of Kindersley Zoning Bylaw 02-22 that is currently under review and awaiting Ministerial Approval; The Council of the Town of Kindersley does require the applicant to provide municipal reserve land; The Council of the Town of Kindersley does require the applicant to enter into a […]
