In order to effectively supervise around the water we need to remember how our brain works. While watching kids we can only really see or process one black dot (or kid) at a time. If you are watching multiple kids you have more black dots to switch between. The dots could also represent a conversation or another task. While you are attending to one dot, the other dots are on their own. #noteffective
An important reminder that we are human and our brain likes to do one task at a time…we have limitations.
I know so many people simply say “just watch your kids”, but I think it is a little more than that. It is work.
