2024-2028 Council Candidates
Everyone has been anxiously waiting to know who is running for the 2024-2028 Municipal Elections for Mayor and Councillor positions. The Town of Kindersley has one (1) Mayor position and six (6) Councillor positions. Residents you will see on your ballot include (in alphabetical order):
- MAYOR: Ken Francis or Tom Morris
- COUNCILLORS: Rob Anderson, Daniel Baker, Anthony Barlow, Randy Ervine, Jennifer Greschner, Shaun Henry, Kevin Martin, Warren Schafer

We have a solution! Suggested Community Trick-Or-Treating hours!
Of course Halloween is your day, and you are welcome to celebrate as you wish, however, we created suggested Trick-Or-Treating hours in hopes of alleviating the frustration of not knowing when to shut the lights off for the night or when you can sneak away to that Halloween party without missing the kids at your door.Let’s Talk Chickens!

There have been a number of inquiries regarding having chickens within the Town of Kindersley.
Our Bylaw to Provide for the Care and Control of Animals, Bees, Livestock and Poultry defines “PET” as domesticated or tamed and kept as a companion: not raised for profit; not customarily raised for human consumption. A chicken is customarily raised for human consumption and therefore does not meet the definition of a pet.
This Bylaw also states chickens may be kept to a maximum of five (5) in the RA and UR zoned regions within the town with proper fencing erected. IF you do not live in these two zones (RA and UR), you CAN NOT have chickens. […]
