100 & 200 Block of 3rd Avenue East & 4th Avenue East to Be Removed from Temporary Water Services

Our watermain replacement project is nearing completion in some areas of Town. The 100 & 200 block of 3rd Avenue East & 4th Avenue East will be removed from the temporary service very soon.
We are pleased to inform you that the installation of the new watermain in your area is nearly complete. To switch your home from the temporary waterline to the new one, our contractor, ConTech, will need access to the water shut-off valve inside your house. If everything is functioning as expected, they will also disconnect the temporary waterline during the visit.
ConTech will begin door-to-door visits immediately, and we hope to complete this process as soon as possible. Once completed, the temporary waterline will be dismantled and removed.
If you have any questions or concerns, please contact Foreman Derek Leslie at 1-(306)-260-5643.

Stay Home If You Are Sick!

Currently, there are a number of residents in Kindersley and area, especially children, who are ill with the flu (includes significant vomiting and diarrhea). We are reminding everyone to please STAY HOME IF YOU ARE SICK!!
Upon the reopening after the annual shutdown (October 25th, 2024), please do not visit the Kindersley Aquatic Centre (KAC) until you are 72 hours clear of flu symptoms. Unfortunately, an aquatic environment is an excellent place for germs to spread. If a pool becomes fouled due to vomiting or diarrhea, the facility, as a whole, will be closed for 24 hours, or longer, while the incident is addressed.
The KAC management and staff are dedicated to the health and safety of our community – this begins with the health and safety of those visiting our facility. Please help us keep our facility, and community, healthy and safe.

No Sticks, Pucks, or Balls in the Walking Track Area

We’d like to give a friendly reminder that for the safety of others, PLEASE do NOT bring your sticks, pucks, balls, etc. up on the walking track area.
We DO have signage posted. However, we thought we should share to our other channels as well to make sure the word gets out there.
Whether you are a team warming up, an individual, or a group of friends burning off some steam, PLEASE use our facility with respect and think about the safety of others.
We did have an incident on the weekend due to this issue, and we do not wish to repeat it.
