Meet Your Councillor: Shaun Henry
My name is Shaun Henry and I have been a part of Kindersley since 2011. I am employed at the local Synergy Credit Union branch and enjoy spending time watching my kids participate in the many activities within the community. In my spare time, I am involved in being a hockey official and mentoring younger referees as well as a committee member for the upcoming provincial curling event being hosted here in January. Being a part of Council from 2014-2019, I was part of a team that brought the indoor pool and new fire hall to life and wish to continue pushing Kindersley forward as the province’s largest town. I helped step in as Acting Mayor for 10 of those months while awaiting the next election in 2016 and feel that experience will help make me a great Councillor forging ahead. One of my goals as a Council member will be to make Kindersley an attractive destination for future growth.
