2024 Infrastructure Update Invitation to Tender
Synopsis: The Town of Kindersley is inviting submission from eligible Contractors for our 2024 Infrastructure Upgrade work including asphalt resurfacing & curb and concrete work. The Work is required to be completed by August 31, 2024. Selection of the Successful Bidder will be based on the cost, schedule, specifications, and references to complete the Work as identified in the List of Drawings Chart and the Town of Kindersley Master Specifications as attached. 2024 Asphalt Paving Projects
11th Avenue East Reconstruction and Knox Street Construction This has been tendered out and has been awarded to G & C Asphalt. We do not yet have the schedule for completion, but is estimated to be complete by September 1, 2024 11th Avenue Reconstruction includes the block from Main Street to 2nd Street East (Tisdales to Kindersley Glass intersection) Road closures will occur on 11th Avenue for the project to be completed. 2024 Water Vending Update
The commercial water vending station located 720 – 10th Street West in the industrial area will see upgrades that may cause disruption in use. They may include lane closures or total closures to be able to facilitate the work. The Town of Kindersley will strive to notify the public as with as much notice as possible, but please be advised it may close at limited or no notice. The upgrades will include underground upgrades and concrete work for both vending lanes. Alleged Aggressive Dog on the Loose
Yesterday there was a post on social media about this dog roaming on 5th Ave W. In the comments, this dog was accused of being aggressive and having bit its owner. We now know the dog pictured was not the dog involved in the biting situation. The dog that allegedly bit and was abandoned has been in the care of our animal pound for a few days.
